Huacamayos Lick :
Many birds and mammals have a special diet according to each species, they supplement their feeding necessarily lacking in minerals with minerals lacking in the foods you normally eat. For this reason they frequently visit the clay licks as is known in this town, mud-rich clay minerals where the forest wildlife will eat this clay to extract what they need. The most famous clay lick in Manu is Whitey, where he made a report from the National Geographic on the birds. At dawn, the show begins with the collection of parrots in the trees on the riverbank. Once they have gathered a large amount already, they descend in droves to eat clay, after the march concluded and parrots, the macaws start to arrive, screaming loudly and lighting up the trees with their shimmering colors, unless they're disturbed, they descend to eat clay sidewalks. A well camouflaged catamaran bamboo disabled visitors to get closer to the clay lick for a closer look at this show.
